Core Responsibilities

• Design and build systems to accurately track API usage and billing events.

• Implement integrations with usage-tracking platforms (e.g., Orb, Metronome) and payment processors (e.g., Stripe).

• Develop internal and customer-facing dashboards for billing insights and usage analytics.

• Build APIs for authentication, user management, and customer integrations.

• Ensure billing accuracy, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a backend engineer.

• Strong programming skills in Python or Go.

• Experience designing REST APIs.

• Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).

• Comfortable working with PostgreSQL and/or time-series databases.

Nice-to-Have

• Previous experience with billing and payment platforms (Stripe, Orb, Metronome).

• Experience building customer-facing dashboards (React/Next.js).

• Knowledge of multi-tenant architectures.
