This is a full-time or part-time remote contract position.
We’re hiring a senior contract engineer to fully own our Windows client. You’ll be responsible for the Rust codebase and the DirectX/Win32 pipeline.
What You’ll Do
Own feature delivery and maintenance for the Windows desktop client end-to-end.
Tune DirectX/Win32 capture paths and GPU encoders (NVENC/AMF/QSV) for low-latency recording/streaming.
Implement secure integrations with backend API.
Required Skills
Expert Rust systems programming on Windows, including tokio, egui, and libobs
Deep knowledge of DirectX and Win32 internals. Ideal candidates have a background in game development.
Strong debugging/profiling skills for Windows graphics, networking, and runtime issues.
Nice to Have
Solid grasp of video streaming technologies/codecs and C++ interop.
Hands-on experience with OBS and other streaming tools.
Experience shipping high-reliability Windows agents or instrumentation tools.
Past experience with game development.
