HumanSignal is looking for a high-performing Sales Development Representative to help us reach the world's most innovative AI companies. You'll be opening doors with frontier labs, tech giants, and cutting-edge robotics companies who are building the future of AI—and who need the purpose-built training data that only we can provide.

This isn't typical SDR work. You'll be prospecting into organizations like Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Meta, Tesla, Nvidia, and others at the absolute forefront of AI research and development. Your outreach will reach ML researchers, AI engineering leaders, and executives building breakthrough applications. The technical sophistication and strategic importance of these accounts make this one of the most exciting SDR roles in enterprise tech.

You'll be the first point of contact for companies that will define the next decade of technology. Your ability to craft compelling messaging, understand technical concepts, and engage senior executives will directly impact HumanSignal's growth trajectory.

You Will:

  • Generate qualified pipeline: Identify and create new business opportunities by prospecting into frontier AI labs, major tech companies, and innovative robotics firms
  • Master personalized outreach: Write highly tailored cold email and LinkedIn messages that resonate with ML engineers, AI researchers, and technical executives
  • Book strategic meetings: Conduct high-level qualification conversations with senior leaders and connect them with our Account Executive team
  • Understand the landscape: Develop deep knowledge of AI companies, their data needs, and how our Data Creation Laboratories and Label Studio platform solve critical challenges
  • Communicate value: Articulate why purpose-built, human-created datasets are essential for the next generation of AI applications
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to refine messaging and targeting strategies
  • Hit and exceed targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities

Ideally You'd Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2+ years of SDR, BDR, or sales experience in a fast-paced enterprise software, SaaS, or technical environment
  • Demonstrated track record of top performance and consistently exceeding quota
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging to technical audiences
  • Research skills and intellectual curiosity to understand complex technical concepts quickly
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a high-energy environment
  • Experience prospecting into large, complex technical organizations
  • Process-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
  • Resilience and persistence—you don't take "no" personally and you love the challenge of breaking into strategic accounts

Nice to Haves:

  • Genuine interest in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies
  • Familiarity with how AI models are trained and the role of training data
  • Experience using sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Self-motivated and competitive spirit with excitement for sales metrics and friendly competition
  • Collaborative team player who welcomes feedback and coaching

At HumanSignal we pay based on regional compensation market rate ranges across the globe. We are hiring for this role across North and South America as well as Europe. The base cash compensation range is $60,000 to $110,000 USD plus commission. These ranges are provided by market data and are in good faith. The final offer details are determined by several factors including candidate experience, expertise, as well as applicable industry knowledge and may vary from the pay ranges listed above.
