Developer Relations Engineer

Help build and grow the Mixpeek developer community. You'll create technical content, engage with developers, and advocate for their needs while promoting our multimodal data processing platform, with a focus on retrieval, relevance, fine-tuning, and embedding technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging technical content (tutorials, blog posts, videos, documentation) explaining complex ML/AI concepts, including retrieval systems, relevance tuning, model fine-tuning, and embedding strategies.
  • Develop and showcase practical demos and sample applications focusing on Mixpeek's core capabilities in multimodal data processing and retrieval.
  • Engage with the developer community through various channels (forums, social media, GitHub).
  • Organize and speak at developer events, webinars, and conferences.
  • Gather, prioritize, and advocate for developer feedback to influence product roadmap.
  • Contribute to open source projects relevant to Mixpeek and the broader ML/AI ecosystem.
  • Develop educational resources for developers of all skill levels to help them effectively use Mixpeek.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in developer relations, technical advocacy, or a similar role within the ML/AI or data engineering space.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in ML/AI, particularly in areas like information retrieval, search relevance, model fine-tuning, and embedding techniques.
  • Proven history of creating high-quality technical content (blog posts, videos, tutorials, documentation) targeted at developers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Passion for building and nurturing developer communities and fostering learning.
  • Experience with public speaking, delivering presentations, and conducting workshops.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools is a plus.
