Forward Deployed Engineer

Partner with enterprise clients to design and implement cutting-edge multimodal AI solutions using Mixpeek's platform. You will be the technical lead, guiding customers to leverage our core technologies to solve their complex data challenges.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and business objectives.
- Design and architect scalable and robust solutions using Mixpeek's platform and underlying technologies (Temporal, Ray, Qdrant, DuckDB, AWS).
- Develop and present technical proposals, demos, and proofs-of-concept to prospective and existing clients.
- Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing guidance on best practices for integrating Mixpeek into their existing data ecosystems.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to provide feedback from the field and contribute to product strategy.
- Create technical documentation, whitepapers, and presentations for client engagements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in multimodal AI, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a solutions architect, technical pre-sales, or a similar client-facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience with data processing pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with MLOps, AI/ML model deployment, and vector databases (e.g., Qdrant).
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Temporal) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Ray) is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously.
