Account Executive
We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our sales team at Monograph and help us scale within the architecture and engineering space. This role is ideal for someone passionate about selling into AEC and energized by helping architecture firms run better businesses. You’ll be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, from initial conversations to close, while contributing to pipeline generation and sharing insights with your team and sales leadership.
You’ll report directly to the VP of Sales and work closely with Sales Development, Marketing, and Customer Experience.
So, what will you do at Monograph as an Account Executive?
- Manage full-cycle sales: discovery, demos, mutual plans, negotiation, and close
- Own and exceed a monthly quota of $60,000 in new ARR
- Speak the language of architecture and engineering firms fluently - your ability to understand how they run their business will set you apart
- Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles, often working across project managers, operations leaders, and firm owners
- Build and maintain at least 10% self-sourced pipeline through outbound activity
- Deliver clear, tailored business cases to help prospects align internally
- Share competitor insights, market intel, and deal strategy with the broader team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and CX to improve conversion and retention
- Represent Monograph with professionalism, curiosity, and insight - online, in-person, and at events
What skills and experience do you need?
- 2-4 years of SaaS AE experience with a proven track record of quota attainment
- Familiarity with AEC firms, project-based businesses, or professional services tools (QBO, PM tools, etc.)
- Confident selling into founder-led or SMB organizations
- A builder's mindset: proactive, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve
- Comfortable selling in a high-change, high-feedback environment
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and visual
- Fluency in sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Gong
Bonus if you have:
- Experience working in or selling to architecture or engineering firms
- Familiarity with Challenger Sales methodology or strategic forecasting
- A passion for design, software, or the built environment
Compensation:
$90,000 base depending on experience; $169,200 OTE in addition to our amazing benefits package and opportunities for growth within our sales organization.
