Developer Relations and Community Engineer

Position Overview

OpenInfer is hiring a hands-on and creative Developer Relations and Community Engineer who is passionate about building high quality AI applications and helping developers succeed. This role involves building production-grade applications using OpenInfer, creating technical content, growing our developer community, and expanding awareness through events and social channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain real-world AI applications using OpenInfer across Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android
• Engage with developers on GitHub and other community platforms, answer questions, and gather feedback
• Create demos, sample projects, and technical content including tutorials, videos, and blogs
• Grow OpenInfer’s developer presence across platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Organize and participate in hackathons, meetups, workshops, and developer conferences
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to surface developer needs and prioritize features
• Contribute to and maintain open source SDKs and tools built around the OpenInfer runtime

Required Qualifications

• Strong programming experience and track record of shipping applications across desktop and mobile platforms
• Familiarity with building AI or ML-powered applications, especially for local or offline inference
• Proficient in Python or Rust, with experience building for Windows, Linux, macOS, and mobile platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical audiences
• Experience with GitHub, community forums, and open source projects

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Experience with C++ or Rust API
• Background in design or user interface development
• Experience building web applications
• Experience with video editing or content creation tools
• Prior experience in developer advocacy, technical marketing, or community building
