At Readyset, we are building a database cache with zero integration cost - just swap your connection string and take read latencies from ~100's of ms to under a ms while reducing costs. It precomputes the results of prepared statements (i.e. parameterized SQL queries) and incrementally updates these results over time as the underlying data in your database changes.
Readyset is wire-compatible with MySQL and Postgres, so it can be integrated with your existing application without code or database changes– Readyset makes it easy for developers to build performant web, analytical, and internal applications regardless of whether they’re deployed to a single region or around the world.

About This Role
As a Demand Generation Specialist you will focus on driving our sales pipeline through high quality lead generation and strategic outbound campaigns. Your role will focus on generating leads that match our ideal customer profile, creating compelling outbound campaigns, managing outbound inboxes, and reporting on outreach efforts.
As part of our small and growing team, you’ll also help operations and product with inbound efforts, blog content management, and sales/website copy on an as-needed basis.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, fast learner who is excited about helping accelerate growth in an early-stage company.
This is a part-time (minimum 20 hours/week), contract position with potential for transition to a full-time role for the ideal candidate. You will have schedule flexibility, provided there is some overlap with Eastern Time and Pacific Time zones.
Responsibilities
Daily
- Generate leads aligned with our ideal customer profile and scale our existing outbound program, where we’ve seen early success utilizing tools like ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and similar platforms.
- Develop, manage, and scale outbound campaigns via email and LinkedIn.
- Track and analyze outreach performance across channels, optimizing strategies for maximum effectiveness.
- Work with product and operations to write new outbound copy and experiment with messaging.
As Needed
- Assist operations and product on an as-needed basis with:
- User enrichment to enhance understanding of inbound lead quality.
- Managing the blog content calendar and process.
- Writing copy for sales collateral, websites, and product updates.
You may be a good fit if you have…
- 2-4+ years of experience in BDR, SDR, lead/demand generation, or marketing roles.
- Experience with demand generation for developer tools is a huge plus.
- Working knowledge of ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator is a plus.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to readily learn new technologies, products, and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally.
Compensation
We have raised over $28m from great VC funds and angels to fuel our growth and help us take our product from an ambitious research prototype to general availability. The base rate for this position is $3,000-5,000/month with an additional cash incentive for each qualified demo booked.
